Hi, I’m Erin. I’m a bit of a bookworm, word nerd, grammar geek.

Brain Candy started as a place for me to write about what I was reading and not reading, and ranting about e-books, literary adaptations and the state of independent bookstores. And yet, oddly, I’ve pretty much stopped blogging about all of those things. But I do still love to rant about a great many other topics, and thus will be keeping the blog around.

Right now my focus is on running and attempting to follow a Paleo-ish diet. Who knows what it will be tomorrow…

After six years working on the 2010 Winter Games, I’m looking forward to experiencing the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia as a volunteer, and hope to share those experiences on this blog.
